This V-100 came from a Police Department. It is licensed and titled in the state of Washington. It is restored to military configuration as of three years ago. Mileage is 5,332. The original Commando Special tires are on it, recapped of course. It has Vic-1 intercom, 524 and 422 radios. Weapons mounts are on right rear, in front of commander hatch (right front) and the turret. The two 30 cal. barrels on turret are held in place with set screwsand remove easily for travel. They are Barrels only, no receivers in turret.

Vehicle has 12 volt ignition, distributor, plug wires and spark plugs. All available at Napa Auto Parts. The rest of the electrical is 24 volt as original. Carburetor is a new Holley. Tail lights are new LED style for  better visibility. The top section of side doors have locking pins on hull so they can be locked open for times you are hauling passengers and not worry about them swinging shut on anyone.

The Ironman hull art came from a picture on page 35 of New Vanguard published by Osprey on the V-100. My wife then found a 1968 Ironman comic book and copied it as it was in 1968. The comic book is in the vehicle. The weapons placement is similar to the G1 plate on page 32 of same (New Vanguard) magazine.

The vehicle starts easily, shifts well and has no leaks. Oil and filter were just changed (Napa Filter). Exterior hull paint is excellent and interior paint shows foot wear. Exterior color is semigloss and extra time was spent preparing the hull so the vehicle would look great with semigloss paint.
