Built in Springfield Mass, this is a Rare find in WWII Armor. These Ford Universal Carriers are often mistaken as "Bren Gun" Carriers but are actually larger and more capable. Used by US, British, Canadian and other Commonwealth countries, they were used for Scouting, Artillery Towing, Infantry Transport, Mortar Carrier, Ambulance, Command. This example is a 1944 model and includes the original Mercury flathead V-8 which has been rebuilt by a renowned expert on flathead Fords. It starts, runs, stops great. Restored some years ago, it has been in a private museum. It includes modern hardened steel track pins, original Tow Cable & Chains, Shovels, Packs, Ammo Cans, Camo Netting, Fire Extinguisher, Petrol Cans, Manuals, Dummy PIAT Anti-Tank Rocket Launcher, Dummy MkI BREN Gun, Mk19 Wireless Set (Radio, not yet installed), Two Radio Headsets & Mics, Connecting Box, Three Spare Road Wheels. These are fun to drive, lightweight for armor (8,000lbs.), great for reenacting, parades, or display. Awesome Value in WWII Armor. This is an older total ground up restoration,100% correct and is as good or better than any T-16 you will find.
